How it works

You arrange your own accommodation: We share a curated list of apartments, camp grounds, guesthouses and family-friendly stays in and around the Valle Laghi province— and the community Whatsapp group makes it easy to coordinate, share finds, and even arrange shared stays.
You choose how long to stay: join for a week. Stay for the month. Return the following month. The hub runs June through September 10 2026, rolling monthly — so you can build your summer around your life.
You choose how deeply to go: Community access means you get to experience curated community living and adventure with ease. Adventure Pods are available for families who want structured outdoor experiences for their kids three times a week.
Everything else — the people, the mountains, the pace — is already here waiting for you.

BASE CAMP COMMUNITY
Base Camp is your entry point into the GLMC community.
It is for families who want to be part of something — without needing it to be structured around every hour of their day.
You land in the Alps, you find your people, and you decide what you do with them.

~ Group rifugio hikes through the Brenta Dolomite region

~ Local castle discovery days and meet-ups at one of the stunning lakes
~ Community Adventure Days — including external activities such as via ferrata, bike adventures, paddleboarding and kayaking (activity costs not covered by GLMC)

BASE CAMP PLUS
Where Adventure meets Spaciousness
For families who want everything the hub offers — community, programming, wellness, AND the independent experiences for their children.
Base Camp PLUS combines community access for adults with Adventure Pod enrolment for children. Mornings are unhurried. Adventure Pods begin around 10am — and while your children disappear into the mountains with our local qualified and bi-lingual external guides for archery, bouldering, wood carving, and more, you might join a breathwork session, take a sauna, or move your body in the alpine air.
After that, the day is yours. Work from the co-working space, sit in the piazza with a coffee, or simply do nothing particularly well. Afternoons are sacred — for exploration as a family, connection, or quiet. Evenings arrive slowly and stay long.
This is what the art of living well looks like when you give it room to breathe.

Adventure Pods are optional outdoor exploration sessions are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to 1pm, (or alternate time as dictated by the external providers) and take place across a variety of locations throughout the valley. Sessions are hosted in small groups, with a maximum of 8 participating children per session. Experiences are independently facilitated by qualified, bi-lingual local activity providers and are adapted according to weather, seasonal conditions and local circumstances. Children aged 6–14 are welcome, with groups generally organised by approximate age and activity suitability where possible. Participation in all sessions is voluntary. Families are responsible for drop-off and collection at the designated meeting location for each session. Weekly meeting points, timing details and logistical updates are shared within the community Telegram group to support planning and coordination. Alongside children’s optional sessions, GLMC shares a weekly rhythm of optional community gatherings, wellness sessions and locally facilitated experiences for adults and families throughout the week.
Where possible, adult community activities are scheduled to align with children’s independently facilitated session times.
